What stays on your Mac
Your hand movements and tremor measurements stay in memory on your Mac and are discarded. They are never sent anywhere.
What the app sends
- License check, when the app starts and every few hours: your email, license key, app version and a random-looking code that identifies your Mac. It's used to confirm your license and count your Macs.
- Update check, once a day: the app asks this website whether a newer version exists, the same as any download.
- Crash reports, on unless you turn them off: the app version, macOS version, Mac model and technical details of the fault. They aren't linked to your email, license, Mac code or IP address. You can turn them off in Setup or at any time in Settings.
What this website keeps
- Your email and license key, to provide what you bought.
- A count of attempts on forms, stored as a scrambled value and cleared within a day, to stop abuse.
- This site has no analytics or advertising cookies.
Companies that help us
- Stripe and its Link service take your payment as the seller of record.
- Cloudflare runs the security check on our forms and carries the site's traffic.
- An email provider delivers your license key.
